Bracelets

Chain bracelets, bangles, and beaded styles in 18k gold filled. Stack them, layer them, or wear one alone — built for daily wear in water and sun.

How to size a bracelet, and which styles stack well

Sizing takes ten seconds. Wrap a tape measure snugly around your wrist just below the wrist bone, then add about ¾" (2cm) for a comfortable drape. A 5.5–6" wrist takes a 6.5" bracelet, a 6–6.5" wrist takes 7" — the most common size — and a 6.5–7" wrist takes 7.5". Add a little more if you prefer a looser hang, less if you want it to sit close. Full measurements are on the size guide.

Stacking works best with contrast. Pair one piece with visible texture against one that is smooth: a chain bracelet next to a beaded style, or a cuff or bangle as the rigid anchor with finer chains moving around it. A tennis bracelet or a cubic zirconia style is usually the piece you build around rather than one of several.

Bracelets take more abrasion than any other piece — they knock against desks, bags and steering wheels all day. Gold fill handles it because the gold layer is bonded rather than plated on, but the one habit worth keeping is storing them flat and separate so chains do not rub against each other. The care guide covers the whole routine in about thirty seconds a week. For the full verdict on showers, pools, the ocean and the gym, see our waterproof jewelry guide.
