Made for the water.

Mondsee jewelry is designed for real life, salt air included. Our 18k gold filled pieces are built to go where you go. A simple care routine keeps them looking their best for years to come.

Water Friendly

Built for beach days, pool afternoons, and everything in between. Wear it in the water.

Tarnish Resistant

18k gold filled contains significantly more gold than plated alternatives, standing up to sun, sweat, and saltwater.

Safe for Sensitive Skin

Nickel-free and hypoallergenic. Made for everyday wear, on every skin type.

Built to Last

With a simple rinse routine, gold filled jewelry holds its color and shine for years, not seasons.

The golden rule: rinse and go.

You swam in it. You should. Here is how to keep it glowing after.

  • After ocean swims, rinse your piece under cool fresh water for 30 seconds. Salt is a natural mineral that can dull metal over time, but a quick rinse after every beach day is all it takes to counteract it completely.
  • After the pool, give your jewelry a brief rinse as well. Chlorinated water is more concentrated than the ocean, so a rinse goes a long way. Pat dry with a soft cloth and you are done.
  • After everyday wear, a quick wipe with a dry cloth removes sweat and skin oils. Think of it the same way you rinse sand off your feet. One simple habit that keeps everything looking fresh.

The short version

Wear it in the water. Rinse it with fresh water after. Pat it dry. That is genuinely all you need to do. Our pieces are built to keep up with your lifestyle, not limit it.

Everyday habits worth keeping

Small rituals that make a real difference over time.

  • Put it on last. Apply perfume, lotion, and sunscreen before putting on your jewelry. Let products absorb into your skin first so they do not build up on the metal.
  • Store it dry. Keep your pieces in their pouch or a dry spot after wearing. Avoid leaving jewelry sitting wet for long periods, especially in humid environments like bathrooms.
  • Store pieces separately. Keep each piece in its own pouch or compartment to prevent scratching. A tangled pile in a drawer is the one thing gold filled jewelry does not love.
  • Polish occasionally. A soft lint-free cloth (like a glasses cloth) buffed gently over your piece restores shine between wears. No products needed.

Cleaning your pieces

For when you want to give them a proper refresh.

  • Routine shine: Buff gently with a soft, dry cloth. This removes any residue and brings back the luster without any risk of scratching.
  • Deeper clean: A small drop of mild dish soap in warm water, applied with a very soft cloth or toothbrush, works perfectly. Rinse under lukewarm water and pat completely dry before storing.
  • Pieces with stones: Wipe gently around the setting with a damp cloth rather than submerging. Water can loosen adhesive in some stone settings over time.
  • Chains: Lay flat on a cloth to dry after cleaning rather than hanging. This prevents any stretching of delicate links.
