You do not need a ring sizer. Wrap a strip of paper around the base of your finger, mark where it overlaps, and measure the length in millimetres — that number is your circumference, and it maps directly to a US size. Or take a ring that already fits and measure straight across the inside of the band. Both methods, plus a full millimetre chart, are in how to measure your ring size at home.

Three things that cause most wrong-size orders. Measuring with cold hands, which shrinks your fingers. Measuring first thing in the morning, when they are at their smallest. And forgetting the knuckle — the ring has to travel over it. Between two sizes, or wearing a band 6mm or wider, size up.
